The official currency in Kosovo is the euro; and the currency code is EUR.



Because of territory wars and the eventual declaration of independence of Kosovo, the currencies used in Kosovo preceding the euro were the Yugoslav dinar and the Deutsch mark.



Kosovo is not an official member of the Eurozone, however it unilaterally adopted the euro in 2002.
