Because of territory wars and the eventual declaration of independence of Kosovo, the currencies used in Kosovo preceding the euro were the Yugoslav dinar and the Deutsch mark.

Kosovo is not an official member of the Eurozone, however it unilaterally adopted the euro in 2002.

This is an excellent service. My only slight negatives are that I would prefer no small bank notes. The $10 collection fee at the PO, which I have never paid in previous years, & actually didn't pay on this occasion, as it was a collection free offer. I do find the rates are the better, compared with other services, so if buying a large amount you are still better off even if having to pay the $10.
