Very convenient and good exchange rate

They had a bonus exchange rate on the travel card which I appreciated. The card was very convenient and worked everywhere (only they may need to print on a reminder to pay in the currency you have on the card, as I accidentally paid in my home currency a couple of times and got charged extra for that through travelex fees). Cash exchange and travelex card were both very easy to arrange online and pick up from local store. The travelex card was a nice way of avoiding bank fees on normal credit card and felt much safer than carrying the same amount of cash. I also felt better about using some card-only 24/7 petrol sheds if needed in an emergency, rather than using my own credit card.

It was so easy

It was so easy. Ordered euros on line and could have picked it up the same day. We also got a better exchange rate than the post office.

A little tricky with online ordering

Everything went well except that I wanted the Canadian money as cash, but somehow it went onto the card. The people at Helloworld were understanding and said it often happened, so maybe it wasn't just me, and sold me some Canadian currency at online rates.

The online ordering process is really easy

The online ordering process is really easy to use. I attended the shopfront in Castletown, Townsville Qld to collect my card. I really appreciated the fantastic customer service that I received from Mandie. I will definitely be going back there to order more currency.

I did not give 5 stars because TravelEx were not able to give me money in all the denominations that I requested. They did a fairly good job even so.
