To send money from Australia to China with Travelex, you need to provide your full name and current address, verification of your identity, and your bank payment details. You will also need to enter the full name and address of your recipient as well as their bank details, including account number, bank name, branch code, and SWIFT/BIC code.
It usually only takes 48 hours (1-2 business days) for your funds to arrive in your recipient's bank account. If it takes longer, the issue is likely to do with your recipient's bank.
The minimum to transfer funds through Travelex is AU$10, but there is no upper limit on how much you can send after your first transaction (your first transfer is limited to a max of AU$2,500).
Different tax regulations may accompany your transaction, depending on a variety of factors. In most cases, you will not need to pay any tax on the money you send to China, as this money is already taxed within Australia.
