Travelling around Fiji

Chances are that you’ll land on the main island of Viti Levu by plane. After this, you’ll probably be whisked off to your island get-away by boat, small plane or ferry. These are generally organised and paid for before you leave.

In terms of travelling around the islands while you’re away, there are a range of reasonable options, including taxi travel on the more populated islands. A taxi should set you back around AU$1 as a base rate and
$0.65 per km after that.
